  • Serve as the primary contact for accounts and health care providers, linking customers to Novartis resources

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required from a 4-year college or university
  • Experience within the last 5 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, medical device, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, B2B, or similarly complex sales environments
  • Territory Account Specialist level: 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Senior Territory Account Specialist level: 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Executive Territory Account Specialist level: 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Associate level candidates may have limited prior sales experience or 4+ years of U.S. military leadership service
  • Proven track record of consistent high performance
  • Experience navigating and selling to large accounts and key customers
  • Analytic ability to find, prioritize, and apply relevant information
  • Ethical leadership and ability to promote compliance with company policies and laws
  • Must reside within the territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border
  • Ability to travel 60–80% across a broad geography
  • Ability to drive and/or fly within the territory
  • Fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license required
  • Ability to communicate clinical product information
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally in a matrix environment
  • Novartis will not sponsor visas for this position
