About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead development and execution of the marketing strategy for a key Lp(a) cardiovascular brand
  • Report to the Executive Director, US Marketing Strategy within the Cardiovascular therapeutic area
  • Partner with Insights & Decision Sciences, HCP Marketing Strategy, and the Media Center of Excellence to translate customer insights into data-driven campaigns
  • Shape brand marketing strategy, experience planning, and performance optimization across channels
  • Partner with marketing strategists to develop an integrated brand marketing strategy and customer-insight-grounded campaigns
  • Establish brand-specific expertise and create engaging brand-centered experiences
  • Work with Customer Experience Planning and Optimization, Media COE, and Agency of Record to deliver integrated consumer/DTC campaigns
  • Implement digital marketing strategies aligned with brand goals and optimize digital plans
  • Foster a high-performing team across key functions
  • Deliver the patient integrated plan and define required resourcing and allocated budget
  • Collaborate with Novartis Patient Services, Corporate Communications, and Brand Communications
  • Drive creative excellence with the Content Lab and Customer Experience Planning and Optimization team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required
  • At least 8 years of experience in commercial Marketing with multifunctional experience in Pharmaceutical or Healthcare preferred
  • At least 3 years of demonstrated experience leveraging data, analytics, and customer insights to drive personalization at scale
  • Experience supporting high-performing brands in highly competitive categories within the US
  • Strong recent launch experience for blockbuster specialty treatments preferred
  • Transformational leadership experience to transform the business into next-generation engagement
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to collaborate with Product, Communications, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and Global teams
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas and information to varied audiences and stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines
  • Experience in highly competitive US categories
  • Familiarity with agile approaches to marketing strategy and execution
  • Experience in the cardiovascular therapeutic area preferred
  • Master of Science and/or MBA preferred
