About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide critical input into strategic and tactical planning and implementation as well as budget planning
  • Drive strong collaboration and co-leadership of the products with colleagues in Global, US Medical, US Commercial, and other cross-functional partners
  • Implement, design, and execute clinical trials in Neuroscience
  • Lead advisory boards and other engagements with Medical Experts
  • Develop data generation plans and implement medical communication strategy
  • Conduct field force training
  • Participate in promotional and non-promotional material development and review
  • Lead insights across medical functions, clinical care gaps outcomes and strategies for NOGE
  • Build positive partnerships with Medical and Commercial as well as US and Global colleagues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Doctorate level degree (MD, PharmD, DO, or PhD in Health Sciences or related field) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)/ Physician’s Assistant (PA) degree with significant relevant clinical experience required
  • >5 years’ experience in progressively senior roles within clinical development and/or medical affairs roles in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry or academic institution/clinical practice
  • Clinical research experience – including concept and protocol development – conducted in a pharmaceutical or equivalent environment is preferred
  • Solid understanding of clinical trial operations and experience driving patient recruitment solutions is preferred
  • Strong track record of positive, productive interactions with Medical Experts and Investigators
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusting working relationships with external medical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated track record of driving and managing complex projects to completion with urgency while effectively managing multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and work collaboratively with multiple cross functional teams
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and comfort with complexity with strong strategic, analytical, and conceptual thinking ability.
