About the role

  • Understand the requirements of manufacturing sites and be able to map them to existing solutions or capabilities or come up with proposals to initiate a new project.
  • Design and manage the development of modular, reusable, elegantly designed and maintainable software that supports the organization as well as strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee development performance and make sure deliveries are completed within agreed timelines.
  • Prepare effort estimations for the new projects and deliver the solutions within agreed budget.
  • Present ongoing activities to higher management to share the status updates and be bold with new ideas that can benefit manufacturing sites.
  • Collaborate extensively with your colleagues across Security, Compliance, Engineering, Product Management, Product Service Management and Business Management.

Requirements

  • University education in the field of informatics, computer science or another relevant field.
  • Active knowledge of the English language (oral and written).
  • 10+ years of prior IT experience in a professional environment, preferably worked with OT systems and understanding of data analytics products/capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of automation systems and IT infrastructure
  • Experience in customer facing IT roles and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Digital savvy: good grasp of the impacts and opportunities that data and technology will create for Operations
  • Resourceful: able to find out what is available, what are the capabilities in order to position solutions for the requirements.
  • Self-motivated: willingness to learn and upskill
