About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and unite project teams around growth initiatives, ensuring coordination between commercial, marketing, R&D, finance and HR functions.
  • Join the steering committee for external growth (acquisitions, mergers, integrations), ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational execution.
  • Put commercial activity at the center of our focus and drive growth with our clients and prospects, ensuring excellence in deliverables and service.
  • Propose strategic projects and oversee their implementation by mobilizing internal resources and monitoring progress.
  • Define and track key performance indicators related to development projects: post-investment revenue and profitability evolution, adherence to project timelines and budgets, team engagement levels, and partner and client satisfaction.
  • Strengthen a culture of performance and innovation by supporting managers in transforming practices and achieving objectives.
  • Manage strategic relationships with external partners, negotiate complex contracts and ensure follow-up on commitments.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience as CEO of an SME or mid-sized company (ETI) and as a Business Unit Director, with significant managerial responsibility.
  • Recognized leadership with the ability to mobilize and inspire multidisciplinary teams in a transformation context.
  • Strong knowledge of mergers & acquisitions processes, management of complex projects and change management.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to understand business challenges and contribute actively to commercial strategy.
  • Strong industrial background, ideally in the automotive and/or chemical sectors.
  • Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in German would be a real advantage for the role.
