About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and develop the Purchasing vision and strategy for the Safety Business Unit
- Build, deploy and evolve the Safety BU Purchasing vision
- Provide functional management for Buyers across production subsidiaries
- Lead strategic, multi-subsidiary procurement and drive BU purchasing performance
- Provide technical and regulatory expertise to the Purchasing function
- Develop and execute procurement action plans aligned with the BU’s business growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrial Management or related field
- Proven experience (8–10 years) in a procurement role within an industrial environment
- Demonstrated experience in strategic procurement management
- Strong expertise in industrial purchasing: raw materials, technical components, strategic services
- Knowledge of technical, regulatory and legal environments (standards, supplier compliance, industrial requirements)
- Strong economic analysis skills: TCO, risk assessment, supplier performance, KPIs
- Proficient with procurement tools / ERP systems and managing by metrics
- Professional working proficiency in English required
