About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the strategic liaison between business units and IT departments.
- Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of requirements.
- Participate in planning, design, and implementation of new or enhanced systems.
- Act as a trusted advisor and mentor to drive operational efficiency.
- Lead workshops, interviews, and focus groups with stakeholders.
- Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
- Partner with Project Managers and Technical Leads to define project scope.
- Define User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies and write comprehensive test scenarios.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for core functional business tools.
- Continuously evaluate existing business processes and system workflows to identify bottlenecks.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems)
- Three (3) years of directly related experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or IT project environments.
- Elicitation workshops, user stories, use case development, and BRD/FRD writing.
- Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall frameworks.
- Basic SQL queries, data mapping, and system integration analysis.
- Facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Technical writing, end-user training, and Tier-2/3 application support.
- Figma (wireframing/mockups), user interface design principles, and user journey mapping.
- AI-assisted documentation, prompt engineering for requirement generation, and automated note-taking tools.
