About the role
- Maintain and administer the Business Glossary
- Support identification, implementation, and consumption of metadata and data modeling tooling
- Develop and maintain end-to-end data lineage diagrams
- Author data quality rules, thresholds, and validation checks against critical data elements
Requirements
- 3-5 years of dedicated data governance experience with hands-on proficiency in metadata curation, end-to-end data lineage diagrams, business glossaries, and data quality rules
- Experience with SQL and understanding of data and systems' infrastructures
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks, policies, and best practices; familiarity with data governance roles within a government or enterprise context
