About the role
- Establish and evolve the design system specifically tailored for the Kids Area
- Take ownership of designing engaging kids' experiences for both web and mobile platforms.
- Develop intuitive UX flows aligned with game design objectives.
- Initiate user research, propose hypotheses for UX researchers and transform insights from playtests into UI/UX improvements.
- Feel confident to conduct UX-tests and interviews on their own, when necessary.
- Take initiative to identify problems and act on opportunities to improve the product offering
- Collaborate with the art director, game designer, illustrators, developers, and cross-functional designers to deliver engaging, high-quality player experiences.
- Partner with the Design Lead to implement, refine, and uphold effective design processes, guidelines, and standards.
- Consider all parts of the experience, from copy to animations to business model, when designing
- Proactively search for and request data that helps make well-informed decisions – deconstruct competitors' products, propose hypotheses for playtests, and analyze data with PM and Analytics.
Requirements
- An online portfolio with B2С web or app design projects (portfolio is a must!)
- A minimum of 4 years of industry experience in product/UI/UX design with a proven track record of successful application(s)
- Experience in mobile games and educational products for kids is a MUST.
- Design experience in a consumer application, product, or software role
- A good understanding of layout/structure, typography, animation and best practices on various screen sizes, especially on mobile devices
- Being familiar with native mobile interface guidelines
- The ability to explain your work, process, and decisions and seek feedback to help you produce your best work
- Strong research and development skills, with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
- Written and Spoken English at B2 level or higher
- Passion for gaming and a commitment to creating enriching experiences for young audiences.
