About the role
- Research, write, edit, and maintain technical documentation
- Develop user guides, system manuals, standard operating procedures, and reports
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and subject matter experts
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly content
- Ensure documentation complies with Section 508 accessibility standards
- Maintain version control and documentation repositories
- Support documentation updates for system changes and releases
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship (required)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI or higher background investigation
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 4 years experience
- Experience producing technical documentation for IT systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
