About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Compile and analyze financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements
Work closely with various departments and business units to understand their unique financial needs and challenges
Document new business processes and create clear, concise work instructions for efficient implementation
Assist in developing and implementing metrics and reporting systems to track financial performance
Present findings and progress updates to stakeholders
Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and maintain knowledge of industry best practices
Collaborate with the IT team to enhance information systems capabilities, especially in Finance
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for process automation
Support the Finance team in day-to-day operations and special projects
Comply with NOV Company policies, including HSE guidelines

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required
Minimum 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably focused on process improvement
Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
Experience with database systems including SQL and Snowflake
Experience with ERP systems including Oracle, JDE, or SAP
Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships and collaborating with diverse teams
Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of identifying innovative solutions
Comfortable presenting complex financial information to technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate and timely financial reporting
Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time for business needs
