About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support monthly SIOP and integrated planning processes
  • Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, supply constraints, and operational performance
  • Monitor and report on key planning metrics including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, and backlog
  • Identify risks and opportunities within demand and supply plans and recommend corrective actions
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and planning models to support business decisions
  • Monitor inventory performance and recommend actions to optimize inventory investment while maintaining service levels
  • Analyze excess and slow-moving inventory trends
  • Support safety stock reviews, replenishment strategies, and inventory optimization initiatives
  • Assist with working capital improvement efforts through effective inventory management
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to align plans and priorities
  • Facilitate communication regarding forecast changes, supply constraints, and business impacts
  • Support consensus forecasting and planning activities
  • Provide planning insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Maintain planning data integrity within ERP and planning systems
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc reporting to support leadership decision-making
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvement opportunities
  • Support implementation of planning tools, automation initiatives, and best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations, Finance, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, forecasting, analytics, or related disciplines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities
  • Experience working with ERP systems and planning tools
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience supporting SIOP or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes (desired)
  • Knowledge of inventory optimization and forecasting methodologies (desired)
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms (desired)
  • Manufacturing, industrial, or energy industry experience (desired)
  • APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD) (desired)
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills (soft skills)
  • Data-driven mindset with attention to detail (soft skills)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment (soft skills)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills (soft skills)
