About the role

  • Product Development: Design, simulate, and test analog and digital circuits
  • PCB Design: Create PCB layouts using Altium (or similar software) and validate designs through laboratory testing.
  • Firmware & Embedded Systems: Write, test, and debug firmware for embedded control and data acquisition systems.
  • Field Testing: Participate in design validation and testing at field test locations.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with project managers to plan tasks, estimate timelines, and document technical work.
  • Sustaining Engineering: Provide ongoing support for industrial sensors, gas detection, and control systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure designs meet Hazardous locations, EMC, and other safety and regulatory standards.
  • Innovation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability in analog and digital circuit design.
  • Experience with PCB layout tools such as Altium Designer.
  • Hands-on experience using measurement equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers).
  • Strong problem-solving and team collaboration skills.
  • Excellent time management and communication abilities.
  • Experience with firmware development and real-time programming (C/C++, embedded systems) (Preferred).
  • Knowledge of sensor technologies and signal conditioning (Preferred).
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems and JIRA (Preferred).
  • Experience designing electronics to meet UL, EMC, and other industry standards (Preferred).
