About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operation of the store
Mentor team members to provide fast and friendly service
Ensure every customer receives a great shopping experience
Maintain physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of store facilities
Stock and re-stock inventory merchandise throughout the facility
Check in vendor deliveries
Complete required paperwork, including shift reports, gas reconciliation, and cigarette counts
Assist in training
Assist the Store Manager as needed
Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of one year of retail experience
General computer knowledge
Ability to read, write, and operate electronic equipment and sales transactions
Good communication skills
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to stand at all times and for prolonged periods
Ability to kneel, lift, and bend up to 25 pounds
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds at times
Ability to traverse and access all areas of the store
Ability to work any shift within store operational hours and weekends
Must be 18 years of age
Own reliable transportation
Valid driver's license
