About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the company's global accounts payable process, ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices
Oversee travel and expense policies, and processes and systems
Review and issue all purchase card requests
Support the month-end close accrual and accounts payable reconciliation process
Collaborate with Accounting, Treasury and FP&A to ensure seamless financial operations
Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Perform regular reviews of accounts payable aging reports
Develop and maintain metrics and reports to track accounts payable performance
Identify and implement streamlined automated processes
Manage a team of AP contractors and employees
Assist in the financial audit process
Maintain strong vendor relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
5+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting roles
Experience working with international subsidiaries and knowledge of VAT
Proven experience with developing scalable, efficient, and controlled processes
Self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and proactively drive business results
Strong attention to detail, communication, and high degree of analytical and problem-solving skills
Organized and execution focused, with an ability to work independently
Experience using NetSuite, Zip, Ramp, Navan, or similar accounting software
