Key responsibilities & impact

Apply statistical inference and experimentation to understand product-change impact and drive decision-making
Explore ambiguous areas and conduct analysis to identify opportunities for the Growth organization
Partner with product, engineering, and marketing leaders throughout development
Help shape strategy and roadmap through data science and analytics work
Define north star and operational metrics with teams
Build foundational datasets and dashboards to monitor progress and support key decisions
Communicate findings across the company and drive product and business change

Requirements

What you’ll need

Expertise in SQL and at least one scripting language, ideally Python or R
Knowledge of statistical inference and experimentation
Ability to transform raw data and build datasets
Ability to make tradeoffs between speed and accuracy
Comfort with ambiguity and motivation by business results
Experience at a fast-growing start-up (nice to have)
Experience at a B2B SaaS company (nice to have)
Experience acting as a thought partner to product, engineering, and marketing leaders (nice to have)
Experience building predictive models and evaluating their effectiveness (nice to have)
