About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the planning, coordinating, and execution of events that drive brand awareness, engage audiences, and support business growth.
- Coordinate with the events teams to create an annual event calendar that aligns with the company’s marketing objectives and product launches.
- Define and communicate clear goals, objectives, and KPIs for each event (e.g., brand awareness, lead generation, customer engagement). Then follow-up to see if those KPIs were accomplished and if not, then understand why and how to improve.
- Conceptualize the theme, messaging, and design of both internal and external events (conferences, trade shows, etc.) in collaboration with marketing leadership.
- Collaborate with creative and content teams to develop event branding, messaging, and materials.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring all aspects of the event (venue, staffing, technology, catering) are within allocated resources communicating closely with marketing leadership.
- Identify cost-effective solutions without compromising the quality of the event.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders (e.g., partnerships, product, marketing) for event setup and logistics.
- Handle contract negotiations with venues, service providers, and contractors.
- Oversee logistics and execution of events, including booking venues, managing schedules, and meeting technical requirements.
- Ensure smooth onsite or virtual event experiences for attendees, staff, and speakers.
- Develop promotional plans to drive attendance through email marketing, social media, and partnerships.
- Ensure high engagement before, during, and after the event through marketing campaigns and interaction with attendees.
- Identify, secure, and coordinate with speakers for keynotes, panels, and sessions.
- Lead post-event follow-up efforts, including lead nurturing, feedback collection, and analyzing event ROI.
- Share event performance reports with leadership and stakeholders.
- Gather attendee feedback to refine and improve future event experiences.
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovative event technologies to continually enhance the company’s event strategy.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 - 7 years of experience in marketing, preferably in healthcare, tech, or high-growth stage companies.
- Proven experience planning and executing successful events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and report on the success of marketing initiatives.
- Travel is required and may vary during trade show season and for our annual user conference, Noteworthy.
- Bonus points for a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
