About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute programming in support of the Legal Talent Management function for lawyers in all US offices
  • Support several of the team's core processes including lateral integration and lawyer evaluation and promotion process
  • Provide general support for other initiatives under the broad remit of the Legal Talent Management (LTM) team
  • Aid in execution of lawyer year-end evaluation and compensation processes
  • Communicate effectively and proactively with firm lawyers
  • Work closely with LTM team members to enhance connectivity across the lawyer population
  • Leverage a variety of data sources to create monthly reports, identify trends and update dashboards
  • Provide insights in support of lawyer retention efforts
  • Help facilitate firmwide programming, including local and national events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of professional work experience, preferably at a law firm or other professional services environment
  • In lieu of a bachelor's degree, 6 years of professional work experience, preferably at a law firm or other professional services environment
  • Experience in Microsoft suite required including Excel
  • Experience in Workday a plus
  • Professionalism, personal integrity and high degree of confidentiality and discretion
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, responsiveness and excellent organizational skills required
  • Good judgment and accountability for delivering excellent work product
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills; both written and oral
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Interest in working on and in support of a team
  • Confident interacting with all levels of the organization, both legal and administrative
  • Reliable, flexible and a can-do attitude in all situations is essential.
