About the role
- Lead the design and development of global merchandise and riding gear portfolio
- Lead end-to-end design for branded merchandise and casual clothing from concept to production
- Work closely with trusted suppliers to build and develop riding gear collections
- Issue detailed technical packages (tech packs) for all products to communicate with suppliers and manufacturers
- Ensure product designs reflect brand identity, meet performance expectations, and satisfy customer lifestyle needs
- Partner with external designers and suppliers to bring products to market
- Conduct trend research, customer feedback reviews, and competitive benchmarking to establish design direction
- Define seasonal and long-term product roadmaps for casual clothing, branded merchandise and riding gear with Alt-Rev merchandiser
- Ensure delivery of product collections aligned with key brand moments, launches, and regional market needs
- Oversee all sampling, fit approval, and support product testing for quality, safety, and durability
- Partner with marketing, motorcycle retailers, aftersales, and eCommerce teams to align product development with commercial strategies
- Collaborate with commercial and design teams to ensure merchandise reflects brand guidelines
- Report to the Global Director of Alt Revenue
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in apparel, merchandise, & development, ideally in the fashion/lifestyle sectors, Motorsport, motorcycle and sportswear
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and commercially successful product development
- Deep knowledge of materials, fit, construction, and performance standards for apparel and technical gear
- Experience working directly with global suppliers and overseeing production from concept to delivery
- Highly collaborative and able to balance creativity, technical requirements, and business goals
- Strong understanding of customer lifestyle trends, especially within premium automotive or motorcycle communities
- Detail-oriented and organised, with ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously
