About the role

  • Lead the design and development of global merchandise and riding gear portfolio
  • Lead end-to-end design for branded merchandise and casual clothing from concept to production
  • Work closely with trusted suppliers to build and develop riding gear collections
  • Issue detailed technical packages (tech packs) for all products to communicate with suppliers and manufacturers
  • Ensure product designs reflect brand identity, meet performance expectations, and satisfy customer lifestyle needs
  • Partner with external designers and suppliers to bring products to market
  • Conduct trend research, customer feedback reviews, and competitive benchmarking to establish design direction
  • Define seasonal and long-term product roadmaps for casual clothing, branded merchandise and riding gear with Alt-Rev merchandiser
  • Ensure delivery of product collections aligned with key brand moments, launches, and regional market needs
  • Oversee all sampling, fit approval, and support product testing for quality, safety, and durability
  • Partner with marketing, motorcycle retailers, aftersales, and eCommerce teams to align product development with commercial strategies
  • Collaborate with commercial and design teams to ensure merchandise reflects brand guidelines
  • Report to the Global Director of Alt Revenue

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in apparel, merchandise, & development, ideally in the fashion/lifestyle sectors, Motorsport, motorcycle and sportswear
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and commercially successful product development
  • Deep knowledge of materials, fit, construction, and performance standards for apparel and technical gear
  • Experience working directly with global suppliers and overseeing production from concept to delivery
  • Highly collaborative and able to balance creativity, technical requirements, and business goals
  • Strong understanding of customer lifestyle trends, especially within premium automotive or motorcycle communities
  • Detail-oriented and organised, with ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously
