AI Product Manager
NorthwoodsAI Product Manager responsible for driving product delivery and adoption at Northwoods. Leveraging AI across the product lifecycle to ensure customer value and business outcomes.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate product strategy, customer insights, and business priorities into execution-ready work for Engineering teams
- Own and maintain healthy product backlogs, ensuring work is clearly prioritized, documented, and aligned with roadmap priorities
- Write and maintain epics, user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation
- Ensure sprint readiness by proactively clarifying requirements, identifying dependencies, and resolving ambiguity before development begins
- Partner with Engineering to balance scope, quality, timelines, and technical feasibility throughout development
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning as needed
- Partner with Lead Product Managers to validate concepts, requirements, workflows, and business assumptions before development begins
- Participate in customer interviews, workflow observations, usability sessions, and product demonstrations to understand real-world needs and pain points
- Track product adoption, usage trends, customer feedback, and operational performance to help measure product success
- Help communicate product progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders across the organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4–7 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Product Delivery, or related roles within SaaS or technology-enabled organizations
- Demonstrated hands-on use of AI across the product lifecycle as a core part of day-to-day execution
- Demonstrated experience working closely with engineering teams in Agile/SCRUM environments
- Strong experience with Jira, backlog management, workflow documentation, and release processes
- Experience with Figma, product analytics tools, and modern SaaS product workflows
- Relevant degree preferred (computer science, business, engineering, information systems, design, or related field)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
