About the role

  • Create an environment that inspires others to achieve by blending security processes and technology with company values.
  • Staff posts in enterprise security operations centers, patrol campuses, and provide security at special events.
  • Monitor and dispatch alarms from security technology.
  • Coordinate response to emergency incidents and handle communication.
  • Make proactive observations of potential risks to ensure safety.
  • Serve as a first responder to emergency incidents.
  • Conduct safety and security checks/audits as required.
  • Provide security related services demonstrating customer service skills.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a corporate or professional environment that includes performance under demanding conditions.
  • Excellent customer service in a professional environment.
  • Experience using video management and access control systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Able to work weekends and some holidays as part of the work schedule.
  • Associates degree or 60 credits of post-secondary education from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Current certification in First Aid/CPR/AED and bloodborne pathogen training preferred Must be certified within first 6 months of employment.
  • Candidates must successfully complete and pass any required testing.
