About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Assist in rectifying deficiencies as requested
- Perform a comprehensive assessment of the chief complaint and patient needs utilizing the nursing process
- Seek solutions and offer opinions to physicians and other health care providers
- Document all nursing assessments in the patient's medical record
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Demonstrate clinical competency and independently perform routine nursing duties including phlebotomy, medication administration, and measurement of vital signs
- Communicate and collaborate with other clinical and administrative departments to coordinate appropriate patient care
Requirements
What you’ll need- BSN
- Current Registered Nurse License issued by State of Illinois
- BLS certification
- Minimum two years of RN experience
- Minimum of three years of emergency department or urgent care setting (preferred)
- National certification in specialty area such as CEN, TCRN, Ambulatory Care, or others (preferred)
- Proficient with Epic electronic charting system (preferred)
