About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepares and enters journal entries to the general ledger.
Support the Controller, Accounting Manager and other staff with various accounting functions and analyses.
Assists with timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
Contributes to oversight of the recharge process including management of individual agreements.
Assists with bi-weekly review of reimbursement requests for licensing and continuing medical education expenses.
Oversees corporate card management and maintenance.
Supports the Finance department with budgeting questions and analysis.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline or equivalent educational/professional experience.
Minimum one (1) year of accounting or finance experience.
Three (3) years’ experience in accounting or finance preferred.
Knowledge of inter-entity accounting, include usage of Due To/Due From accounts.
Demonstrated experience in a computer-based accounting system.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
