Completes analyses and educates customers and leaders on trends, challenges, and opportunities that influence decision-making and action.
Works through the full life cycle of analytic and/or technical projects from conception to execution: requirement gathering, data exploration, extraction, cleansing, enrichment, visualization, validation, synthesis, and interpretation.
Ensures quality, clarity, and applicability of deliverables and that they meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and/or department standards and assists in communicating deliverables to customers, providing clear and concise explanation of data delivered, and ensures progress reporting throughout life cycle of project.
Adopts and implements standard methodologies in data infrastructure, reporting and analysis.
Partners with data engineers to build, enhance and maintain robust data assets including documenting business requirements and conducting UAT.
Provides project coordination and/or administrative support for various business critical analysis and reporting needs.
Supports the development and maintenance of project plans, including project schedules and plans for resources, communications and risks.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Economics, Analytics, Public Health, or another applicable quantitative field or equivalent education and experience.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in data analytics.
Strong passion for data analytics and contributing to an organization focused on continuous improvement.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills – a demonstrated ability to mine data for relevant and actionable insights.
Proven ability to work on multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and evolving work environment.
Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and relationship-building skills and can work effectively within a diverse culture.
Familiarity with legal, security and regulatory issues associated with managing and exposing sensitive institutional data.
Experience visualizing analytics in simple, logical, and compelling ways.
Experience with analytics and visualization software such as SQL, SAS, R, Python, Power BI, or Tableau.
