About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with Executive Leadership from a revenue-producing Line of Business to drive growth through business analysis and provide financial and decision support
- Create and present materials for monthly and quarterly business unit reviews
- Explain variances to budget/forecast and clarify profitability reporting
- Update and maintain Risks & Opportunities for the budget/forecast
- Analyze or create production and budget metrics impacting the income statement and balance sheet
- Lead creation of the annual budget and subsequent forecasts, including data gathering and preparation of exhibits for senior leadership
- Support the assigned Line of Business through business case development and post-implementation review
- Create KPIs and Metrics that Matter with the Line of Business
- Maintain and complete a monthly package for the assigned Line of Business
- Maintain and create process documentation for the Business Finance team
- Support development and documentation of the Line of Business strategic plan
- Collaborate with Business Partners in Finance, HR, and other functions
- Provide guidance for quarterly earnings, analyst calls, and Board of Directors meetings
- Perform ad-hoc analysis
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
- Complete other duties and special projects as requested by management
- Abide by safety and loss prevention rules, perform tasks safely, and report injuries
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree
- 6–8 years of Accounting and Finance related work experience
- 6–8 years of Banking Experience
- 6–8 years of Analytics and Reporting
- 6–8 years of Budgeting and Forecasting
- Ability to establish effective working relationships among team members and participate in solving problems and making decisions
- Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely, orally or in writing
- Ability to actively listen and facilitate the open exchange of ideas and information
- Ability to establish courses of action, track work progress, and effectively use time and information
- Ability to make sound decisions using perceptive and analytical processes and good judgment
- Ability to comply with Northwest's policies and procedures and Federal/State regulations
- Ability to navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and department-specific software
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work with on-site equipment
