About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Integral in the planning and execution of national contracts
- Set up contracted services and provide excellent customer service
- Identify/implement landfill diversion, cost savings, and efficiency projects
- Support implementation planning during contract finalization
- Manage Northstar resources to maximize productivity
- Serve as the main point of contacts to new client sites
- Track and meet personal and team progress towards service go live date(s)
- Create and present internally and externally on expectations and updates
- Analyze baseline data to maximize client savings and Northstar GP
- Establish professional relationships with external site contacts
- Serve as a point of escalation for urgent service and billing issues
- Analyze historic data for recommendations on waste program improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be in a CD, CS, or AM role successfully for 18 months or have bachelor’s degree and 2 years of project management experience in project management and in the Sustainability/Waste & Recycling industry
- Travel required up to 50% of the time
- Highly experienced and skilled in Microsoft Suite, particularly in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must have experience creating presentations, using Excel formulas and pivot tables, and writing proposals and work plans
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous projects with various internal and external teams
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to propose and implement new approaches, methods, or technologies
- Resourceful and adaptable
- Professional demeanor and approach, articulate in delivery
