About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • manage a group of strategic Northstar Recycling clients
  • maximize profits, client retention rates, and effectively achieve client goals
  • build strong relationships based on trust and respect externally and internally
  • work to uphold contractual requirements
  • onboard new clients or locations through large scale implementations
  • optimize service levels and surpass client expectations
  • manage a group of Client Development Executives (CDs)
  • facilitate successful transitions of new and existing accounts across CDs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-year degree
  • 2 years’ experience or more in business or waste/recycling industry a plus
  • strong interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail
  • ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization
  • ability to effectively communicate and help CDs achieve goals
  • open-minded to new ideas, company goals, etc.
  • forward thinking/strategic and growth mindset
  • ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • comfort and experience with negotiations
  • valid driver’s license and clean driving record as a condition of employment
