About the role

  • Collaborate with experienced engineers in executing tasks related to Requirements engineering, solicitation, and decomposition
  • Use case development and logical architecture modeling
  • Interface definition and other assigned tasks
  • Perform systems engineering tasks in accordance with program standards and processes
  • Contribute to problem-solving and development of solutions of limited to moderate scope and complexity
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams effectively
  • The ability to ask clarifying questions, seek guidance, and proactively enhance knowledge in relevant areas
  • A results-driven mindset, with a commitment to meeting project milestones and deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of an experienced team while adhering to established standards and procedures

  • Must demonstrate some use and/or application of technical principles, theories, and concepts

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university is preferred, along with 2 years of experience; or a Master’s degree in a STEM-related field with 0 years of relevant work experience.
  • Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start.
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in any aspect of the Systems Engineering (SE) V-Model.
  • Skills in any of the following: Requirements engineering (solicitation and decomposition), Use case development, Logical architecture modeling, Interface definition, System test or requirements verification
