About the role

  • Oversee the development, request, and implementation of changes to the Program and technical baseline
  • Ensure changes are well understood, documented, and executed through the Program approved Change Boards
  • Provide cradle-to-grave solution for Program changes
  • Develop change request packages and represent the package through the change board process
  • Ensure change request package meets quality standards and is board ready
  • Coordinate comment follow-up, resolution, and approvals
  • Coordinate and provide input into impact assessments
  • Coordinate resolution and closeout of board action items
  • Interface with Configuration Management when submitting and finalizing change requests
  • Ensure approved change requests are implemented prior to change request closure
  • Follow through to ensure change requests are closed timely
  • Support the Sentinel Program for Air Force ICBM Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope (< 6 years)
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance as determined by the company
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time
  • Associate Project Change Engineer (Level 1): 0 years of experience
  • Project Change Engineer (Level 2): 2 years of experience
  • Level 1: 1 year of experience with MS Office Suites Product(s)
  • Level 2: 2 years of experience with MS Office Suites Product(s)
  • Level 1: 1 year of presentation experience (school or internship acceptable)
  • Level 2: 2 years of presentation experience (school or internship acceptable)
  • Level 1: 1 year of technical writing experience (school, work, or internship)
  • Level 2: 2 years of technical writing experience (school, work, or internship)
  • Preferred: Current DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Preferred: Understanding of systems engineering principles and processes
  • Preferred: Direct experience using the DOORS Requirements Management Database
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering concepts
  • Preferred: Subcontractor technical oversight experience
  • Preferred: 1 year of project management experience
