About the role

  • Creates comprehensive test strategies and detailed test plans, outlining the overall approach to testing, including objectives, scope, test levels, and resource allocation
  • Develop testing strategy specifically to test Initial Functional Capability configurations of the System
  • Aligns strategy with overall Program Test Plan strategy
  • Partner with System and Sub-System Integration Lab leaders to identify and support early integration activities to reduce eventual test event risk for a large and complex system that incorporates mature and emerging technologies across multiple segments
  • Serve on-site in the Redondo Beach, CA or the Greater Baltimore, MD area
  • Position contingent upon acquiring and maintaining necessary US Government security clearance per customers’ requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university with at least 12 years of experience; 10 years with Master's Degree; OR 8 years with a PhD
  • Demonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle and successful execution of major engineering reviews and events
  • Demonstrated experience in systems development, integration, and test
  • Demonstrated Requirements Management with a focus on Verification
  • Demonstrated experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML/MBSE)
  • Risk and Opportunity Management experience
  • Understanding of DoD systems engineering requirements (e.g., UAF, DoDAF)
  • Multi-Disciplinary Engineering exposure (Software, Hardware, Electrical) and strong ability to communicate cross functionally
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Current Active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI and a Polygraph prior to start
  • Preferred: Professional certifications, such as INCOSE CSEP/ESEP
  • Preferred: Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
  • Preferred: Understanding of Hardware and Software testing methodologies
  • Preferred: Experience with MBSE and Requirements management tools, such as Cameo and DOORS
  • Preferred: Knowledge and experience with Material Review Board, Process Configuration Board, Configuration Control Board and Failure Review Board processes, proposing/defending and implementing Change Notices
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Project & Task Management tools: Jira or Confluence
  • Preferred: Familiarity with specialty engineering tools (examples: MATLAB, COMSOL, Docker, Kubernetes, Visual Studio, Python, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Tableau, Cadence Virtuoso, Keysight ADWS, ANSYS HFSS, Cadence Assura, Siemens Calebre)
