About the role
- Work closely under the Software Lead and help to lead software development activities
- Support the Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit on a Ground program within Payload and Ground Systems Division
- Develop, design, produce, and sustain optimized product lines across the sector to provide decisive advantage to the warfighter
- Implement and maintain software for RF signal data processing and related ground systems
- Participate in DevSecOps/CI-CD pipeline development and maintenance
- Apply Agile processes and use Atlassian tool suite for program execution (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering to deliver program objectives
- Support verification and transfer of DoD security clearance and program access
- On-site work at specified Northrop Grumman locations; occasional travel (~10%)
Requirements
- Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at the time of application
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Minimum years of experience: 8 years with a completed Bachelor's degree; 6 years with a completed Master's degree; 4 years with a completed PhD; 10 years with a completed associate’s degree; 12 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a completed degree (High School diploma or equivalent is required)
- Experience with RF Signal Data Processing
- Experience with C/C++/Python/Java
- Experience with DevSecOps environments in CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Agile programs and methodology
- Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Experience with GitLab
- Willingness to be on-site in Linthicum, Maryland or Morrisville, North Carolina or Fairfax, Virginia
- Ability to verify and transfer current/active DoD security clearance and program access as required
- Willingness to travel: Yes, 10% of the time
