Support the Accounting department and report to the Accounting Manager
Support Monthly Billing Reporting and Analysis, including running/extracting data out of SAP
Use advanced Excel functions to reconcile and analyze data and create published reports (Unbilled AR, Financing Payments, Prior Year Invoicing, Suspense)
Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reporting and reconciliation
Present generated reporting and variance analysis to Leadership
Collaborate with team members, Programs, PCAs, and Leadership to support project efforts
Perform clean-up activities, communicate analytics findings, and facilitate Profit Plan Adjustments/FNBL/JVs processing
Responsible for all Billing Compliance matters and act as primary point of contact for Requests for Information and CAR/DCAR notices from the government related to invoices
Research and prepare official responses and support development/implementation of corrective action plans in response to audit findings
Track and report inquiries and coordinate/present Accounting System Audit and related System Description as it relates to Billing, along with SOX Audit inquiries and process walkthroughs
Provide oversight and guidance to ensure billing processes remain compliant and represent best practices
Coordinate Billing Team Training initiatives, obtain LX certifications, create/schedule/host trainings, and track attendance and completion
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related professional experience OR a Master's degree with 3 years of related professional experience
Knowledge of applications in a computerized environment, including spreadsheet applications and data bases (e.g. MS Excel, MS Access, MS Power Point)
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, etc.)
Experience extracting, compiling, documenting and analyzing data
Prior experience with analysis, problem solving, and reporting
Experience prioritizing multiple assignments in order to meet deadlines
Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time
US Citizenship is required
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field
Preferred: Prior billing, government compliance, and/or accounting experience
Preferred: SAP software tool experience
Preferred: Professional experience in a regulated industry such as Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, or Telecommunications
May require obtaining LX certifications to create, schedule, host, and track attendance of LX trainings
