About the role
- Design, develop, test, certify, and deliver secure systems as part of an integrated Cybersecurity team
- Perform unit-level, art-level, and solution-level release testing
- Manage testing activities at the Cyber Test Facility (CTF)
- Utilize cybersecurity tools, patch management solutions, and security auditing tools to develop secure system designs
- Provide input and interpretation of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements, including success criteria
- Write concise test steps, generate technical documentation, and maintain adherence to Common Criteria, NIST, and NIAP methodologies
- Collaborate with systems engineers, software developers, and network engineers
- Leverage change and configuration management systems to coordinate updates and maintain version control
- Lead testing efforts, represent organization on significant technical matters, and deliver results with minimal supervision
- Support missile defense C2BMC program operations and ground/flight tests
Requirements
- Current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance required to start
- Current active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.) required to start
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field preferred with 8 years experience; or Master’s degree with 6 years; or PhD with 4 years
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens for positions with government clearance
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and patch management solutions
- Familiarity with security auditing tools
- Experience with ACAS, HBSS, ArcSight (SIEM), Endgame, CyberArk, ICAP, Multi-Factor Authentication, UserLock, BitLocker, WSUS, Satellite, BigFix
- Operating Systems experience: RHEL (Linux), Windows 10, Windows Servers
- RBAC and patching experience including Active Directory, GPOs, and BigFix
- Thorough understanding of RMF and ability to interpret requirements
- Experience with Common Criteria, NIST, and NIAP methodologies
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and automated testing frameworks
- Experience with STIGs, test automation frameworks, Ansible, vulnerability scanning and network assessment tools
- Experience serving in project leadership roles and as primary customer contact
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel ~10% of the time
