About the role
- Lead a team of Program Control Analysts in executing a broad scope of business management activities to support program execution and compliance
- Partner with Element Directors to manage all financials to achieve the organization’s financial and strategic objectives
- Provide financial business analysis and reporting and clearly communicate financial program status and analyses to senior management
- Collaborate with CAMs, element and segment/program leadership
- Develop business strategy and forecasting through deliverables such as the Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
- Oversee key line forecasting, work authorization, implementation of program budgeting, risk management, estimate at complete development, and various financial reporting activities
- Interface with diverse functional areas to ensure risks are understood and financial performance is achieved
- Support proposal activities from a financial and strategic perspective
- Develop professional talent and promote a collaborative culture focused on ethics, integrity, engagement, affordability, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Lead and support internal and external program audits
- Interface with program and customer leadership on contract execution (CDRL submittals, funding requirements, invoicing, etc.)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum 6 years of related experience; Master’s degree with 4 years of experience; or a High School diploma (or equivalent) with 10 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
- Requires experience with Earned Value Proficiency including the Earned Value Guidelines
- Requires prior leadership experience (team, people, project, program, etc.)
- Proven leadership track record
- Requires experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and management
- Requires experience with Microsoft Office Excel (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.), and PowerPoint
- Requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance and Sentinel program access (SAP) clearance
- TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time
- Experience with Cognos, Cobra, Project, P6, and SAP (preferred)
- 10+ years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control (preferred)
- Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance (preferred)
- 2+ years of management experience and demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop talent (preferred)
- Full working knowledge of Financial Planning to include Annual Operating Plan development (preferred)
- Understanding of DoD contracts and FAR/DFAR (preferred)
- Understanding of Government Cost Accounting Standards (preferred)
- Active Secret Clearance and current Sentinel program access (SAP) (preferred)
