About the role

  • Develops GSC cost estimates for procurement and subcontract.
  • Prices a consolidated bill of material (CBOM) and provides compliant, quality basis of estimates.
  • Evaluates supplier quotations/proposals and determines adjustments to estimates.
  • Performs price analysis and prepares documentation for BOM items.
  • Develops GSC labor hours estimates for proposals.
  • Prepares and supports presentation and approval of material estimates.
  • Researches and analyzes historical data to develop cost models.
  • Participates in contract negotiating team as a member.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Active DoD Secret or higher clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of government regulations FAR and DFARS
  • Experience in professional communications with USG officials
  • Experience working within complex proposals of varying contract types
