About the role
- Develop and maintain libraries of EEE parts within ECAD tools, specifically Siemens Capital
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, components, manufacturing, and other engineering disciplines
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with cable/harness/PCB designers
- Create and review library components, symbols, and cells in accordance with established NGC and IPC industry guidelines
- Maintain libraries and models for CAD parts within NX and Teamcenter
- Work alongside other members of a Standards/ Librarian and CAD team to develop processes and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in science with 8 years experience or 6 years with a Master's or 4 years with a PhD, or additional 4 years in lieu of degree
- Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance or higher
- 4 years' experience working with cable/harness design and/or CAD (ECAD or MCAD) library maintenance and development
- Experience using Siemens Capital ECAD tool suite or similar wire/cable harness design software
- Experience working with equipment design and/or modeling component parts in NX or equivalent CAD tools
- Experience working with IPC standards for cable wire and harness assemblies and acceptance criteria
- Experience working with military or industry component part specifications or standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
