About the role
- Reviewing design documentation
- Providing hardware and software interface design/development support
- Analyses and collaboration to facilitate equipment selection, design and arrangement
- Conducting research with users
- Checking compliance with MIL-STD-1472G
- Collaborating across IPTs, and coordination with the customer and user community
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, at time of application
- Demonstrated experience applying HFE principles to Department of Defense programs
- Educational background in psychology, human factors, user experience, graphic design, industrial design, or HCI-related field
- Engineering (T02 Level): At least 2 years of related experience with a Bachelor's; OR at least 1 Year's experience with a Master's.
- Principal Engineer (T03 Level): At least 5 years of related experience with a bachelor's; OR at least 3 Years experience with a master’s degree; OR 1 Year with a PhD degree.
