About the role

  • Serving as Q&MA Director responsible for all quality and compliance related activities in Development, Production, Sustainment, and Supplier Quality
  • Overseeing Q&MA employees across more than 30 sites
  • Managing and leading key strategies, systems and governance processes including Management Review, Supplier Disclosure Board, Risk Management, Site Performance, and Customer Reviews
  • Regularly interfacing with internal and external customers regarding requirements and stakeholder expectations
  • Developing controls that build confidence for process execution
  • Assessing program performance and risks, and validating performance metrics reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of related professional and/or military experience that includes a background in the aircraft, aerospace, and/or manufacturing industries
  • Master’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of related professional and/or military experience that includes a background in the aircraft, aerospace, and/or manufacturing industries
  • Prior experience leading multi-site and geographically diverse teams
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
  • Must be able to travel as needed (up to 50% of the time)
  • Must be able to work on-site in at least one of the following locations: McLean, Virginia; Huntsville, Alabama; Roy, Utah; Linthicum, Maryland
