About the role

  • Support the maintenance of NG Space Sector’s Cost Estimating System by contributing to internal reviews, assisting with Estimating System Audits, and working on activities related to Corrective Action Reports and Plans.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive compliance and operations training to teams across the organization to ensure alignment with internal policies and proposal team readiness in proposal development of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15 and alternate acquisition techniques, to include but not limited, to FAR Part 12, NDAA Section 890 (TINA Lite), FAR 15.408 (I) (M)Alternate 1.
  • Assist Divisions and Business Units during fact-finding audits, certifications, and proposal reviews, while supporting the rollout and execution of an internal proposal compliance review process to ensure alignment with internal and external proposal requirements.
  • Provide consultation support to proposal teams on proposal estimating compliance matters.
  • Partner with Pricing and Estimating teams to support the development, implementation, and adoption of estimating processes and tools.
  • Support the maintenance and application of Sector Principles & Operating Practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the tools, processes, and quality of deliverables used across estimating and compliance functions by providing actionable recommendations.
  • Support efforts to standardize processes, improve workflows, and drive ongoing improvements across the sector beyond day-to-day tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field with 12+ years of relevant professional experience – OR – Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to develop solutions to complex issues.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated experience training others.
  • Proficient in collaboration and business tools such as SharePoint, and platforms for creating guides, training packages, and other resources (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, or similar tools).
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
  • US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
