About the role

  • Join a team of qualified, diverse individuals in Roy, Utah or Huntsville, Alabama
  • Responsible for ensuring the execution and quality of the GN&C Software engineering products
  • Act as the liaison with different IPTs
  • Mature GN&C Software unit requirement specifications, interface control documents (ICDs), and architecture definition
  • Ensure vertical and horizontal integration of the GN&C Software requirements, interfaces, and design
  • Perform in a highly dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study from an accredited university plus 2 years related experience OR Master's Degree with 0 years experience
  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application
  • Knowledge of MBSE with experience having implemented system architecture definition using UPDM and/or SysML in an MBSE tool such as Cameo Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, CORE etc.
  • Familiarity or experience with MagicDraw / Cameo EA
  • Familiarity or expertise in DOORS requirements management tool
  • Experience developing ICDs and defining interfaces in an MBSE environment
  • Experience working in an Agile team
  • Understanding of GN&C algorithms and flight critical software development
  • Understanding of the following specialty areas: nuclear surety, cybersecurity, flight safety
  • Working understanding of basic control system theory and vehicle management systems / guidance system design
  • Work experience in one of the following disciplines: guidance & control systems, inertial sensors, navigation systems or vehicle management systems
