About the role
- Provide essential support to the F/A-18 Program as a key evaluator and developer of bids
- Lead/support proposal activities of diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement and collaboration with other team members
- Develop, plan and schedule proposals
- Compile cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications
- Coordinate the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments
- Research and analyze historical data, develop cost models to support proposal efforts
- Coordinate activities and participate in fact-finding meetings
- Participate in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives
- Participate as a member of the contract negotiating team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in quantitative/analytical roles; or Master's degree with 3 years of stated experience; or PhD with 1 Year of stated experience
- Ability to interpret and present complex data
- Solid understanding of project management and/or cost estimation principles
- Knowledge of industry-specific standards and practices related to proposal development (e.g. FAR, DFARs, etc.)
- Experience with developing and/or analyzing Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
- Strong Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel); Working knowledge of intermediate Excel concepts, including pivot tables, formulas, or other advanced features
- Proficiency with cost estimating tools (e.g., ProPricer)
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret US Clearance and required Program Accesses.
