About the role

  • Integrating export/import regulations into business processes
  • Applying for all DDTC and BIS licenses and ensuring legal compliance
  • Working within the Global Surveillance Autonomous business area and across organizational boundaries
  • Defining objectives, assignments, and priorities based on top-level strategic objectives
  • Managing the portfolio of Global Surveillance Autonomous business area export licenses
  • Preparing and submitting all license and agreement requests
  • Interpreting government regulations
  • Ensuring export recordkeeping and reporting requirements are fully met
  • Performing compliance self-assessment audits and implementation of corrective actions
  • Reviewing and approving data exports and international shipping authorizations
  • Assisting with investigations on export/import suspected violations

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years experience in export/import licensing and/or compliance in relevant field (e.g. Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal, Program Management, etc.) or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years experience in export/import licensing and/or compliance in relevant field or Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years experience in export/import licensing and/or compliance in relevant field
  • Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and other US Government Regulations
  • Ability to travel domestic and international (<15%)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Department of Defense Secret Clearance
