About the role

  • Provide technical oversight for test engineering activities.
  • Lead a team that implements many technologies and needs diverse engineering experience.
  • Perform as a senior technical leader to support programs and new business efforts.
  • Engage and collaborate with program and functional organizations.
  • Manage and maintain the day-to-day interfaces and communications.
  • Resolve issues spanning across Hardware Engineering functional area.
  • Facilitate internal meetings to support design, production, and problem resolution.
  • Develop and direct preparation and execution of HW/SW integration activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience; 10 years with a Masters; 18 years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • U.S. Citizenship with an active DoD secret security clearance.
  • Technical experience in network, computer hardware and software, interconnection, and interfacing technologies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present technical details to peers, and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with product integration, regression, and verification testing.
  • Knowledge of system integration and test principles and processes.
  • Experience with engineering lifecycles such as specifications, architecture, design, implementation, integration, debug and maintenance.
  • Experience with version control and collaboration tools.
  • Experience applying systems thinking and systems engineering best practices.
  • Proven leadership skills as a people and technical leader,
  • 2+ Years leading software development teams.
  • 2+ years integrating commercial off the shelf (COTS) and subcontractor submissions.
