About the role
- Manage supplier performance and interface for MS Sector;
- Manage open orders, dock dates, and program communications/updates.
- Lead supplier issue management, prioritization, and expediting.
- Create and maintain Supplier Production Readiness Reviews (SPRR) and Supplier Business Reviews (SBR).
- Define and develop material strategy for on-time supplier delivery.
- Proactively assess delivery risks and collaborate with Programs.
- Analyze, aggregate, and prioritize supply/demand requirements.
- Plan inventory, distribution, production, material, and rough-cut capacity.
- Participate in make/buy decisions, long-term capacity/resource planning, product phase-in/phase-out, ramp-up, end-of-life, and strategic agreements.
- Use Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools to analyze purchase material supply/demand position.
- Plan inventory levels based on Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements and adjust supply as needed.
- Review requirements for non-standard parts, analyze lead times, and identify critical path procurements.
- Negotiate and manage supplier relationships, implement performance metrics, and support cross-functional teams in supply base risk/opportunity analysis.
- Ability to bring matters/issues to successful closure
- Ability to regularly present information to senior level leadership
- Experience with team collaboration and training peers
- Experience in resolving problems with peers or customers
Requirements
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of 8 years Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Management, Operations, and/or related field;
- Masters degree and a minimum of 6 years Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Management, Operations, and/or related field
- Experience in a program environment
- Experience of PWB manufacturing
- Experience working in SAP
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
