About the role

  • Manage supplier performance and interface for MS Sector;
  • Manage open orders, dock dates, and program communications/updates.
  • Lead supplier issue management, prioritization, and expediting.
  • Create and maintain Supplier Production Readiness Reviews (SPRR) and Supplier Business Reviews (SBR).
  • Define and develop material strategy for on-time supplier delivery.
  • Proactively assess delivery risks and collaborate with Programs.
  • Analyze, aggregate, and prioritize supply/demand requirements.
  • Plan inventory, distribution, production, material, and rough-cut capacity.
  • Participate in make/buy decisions, long-term capacity/resource planning, product phase-in/phase-out, ramp-up, end-of-life, and strategic agreements.
  • Use Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools to analyze purchase material supply/demand position.
  • Plan inventory levels based on Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements and adjust supply as needed.
  • Review requirements for non-standard parts, analyze lead times, and identify critical path procurements.
  • Negotiate and manage supplier relationships, implement performance metrics, and support cross-functional teams in supply base risk/opportunity analysis.
  • Ability to bring matters/issues to successful closure
  • Ability to regularly present information to senior level leadership
  • Experience with team collaboration and training peers
  • Experience in resolving problems with peers or customers

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree and a minimum of 8 years Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Management, Operations, and/or related field;
  • Masters degree and a minimum of 6 years Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Management, Operations, and/or related field
  • Experience in a program environment
  • Experience of PWB manufacturing
  • Experience working in SAP
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
