About the role
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies.
- Apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts in EMI/EMC design.
- Work on unusually complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions.
- Ensure systems and equipment meet MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464 and other compliance requirements.
- Provide sound technical guidance in system requirements development, management, analysis, and traceability.
- Consult/Lead reviews of technical schematics, drawings, plans and/or specifications.
- Oversee and support system technical performance measurement definition and tracking.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
- Minimum of 12 years of related experience; or
- Master’s Degree in STEM and a minimum of 10 years of related experience; or
- PhD in STEM and a minimum of 8 years of related experience
- Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval
- 8+ Experience working with MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464
- Familiarity with E3 CDRLs including EMI/EMC control plans
- 5+ year performing EMI design support/analysis
- Experience leading EMI design efforts with integrated product teams (IPTs)
