About the role

  • Leading and managing the Systems Support and Logistics Department within the Systems Engineering organization
  • Report directly to the SDS Systems Engineering Director
  • Set operating objectives and provide mentorship to Functional Home Room (FHR) Section Managers (SMs)
  • Provide oversight and assistance to multiple business areas within the division portfolio
  • Manage planning, risk, project performance, schedule, technical quality, and address technical or operational problems
  • Assist engineers and program staff to develop and maintain talent within the organization
  • Maintain frequent contact with equivalent level managers and programs to maintain and exceed health and performance for all programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of related experience in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) or Master’s Degree in STEM and 6 years of related experience
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • The ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance and Special Program Access
  • Experienced in requirements development/management using DOORS or similar tool
  • Experience in model development/management using CAMEO or similar tool
  • Experience in Model Based System Engineering with an understanding of DODAF and SysML
