About the role

  • Develop and improve program Systems Engineering (SE) strategic processes and plans for engineering design activities promoting SE best practices
  • Work with multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to understand and improve engineering products, processes, formal working groups, etc.
  • Work with engineering leadership and customers to promote top SE topics and critical issues across the program
  • Brief status regularly to key internal and customer stakeholders

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8 years of experience or 6 years with a Master's degree or 4 years with a PhD.
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
  • Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
  • 3 years of experience participating in Systems Engineering Technical Review milestone events
  • 1 year of experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Requirements management
  • 1 year of demonstrated cross-organizational team leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate execution of multiple technical teams to achieve overarching project goals and confidence to brief IPT, Program and Customer leadership
