About the role
- Actively participate as part of a team of Database Administrators managing and advising on database environments
- Demonstrate strong technical skills to achieve high availability, security, and integrity for the operating environment
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Work on-site at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) once clearance is obtained
Requirements
- Ability to obtain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance
- IAT Level II certification such as SecurityX (formerly CASP+) or Security+
- One of the following: High school diploma or GED equivalent with 6 years’ relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with 2 years’ related experience.
- Strong understanding of system administration, including server management and operating systems.
- Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices for protecting sensitive data and ensuring system integrity.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions under time constraints.
