About the role
- Be the definitive technical authority for all aspects of engineering on program elements
- Lead a multi-disciplined engineering team managing the technical performance of the program
- Coordinate requirements development, hardware/software design, verification, and validation activities
- Ensure adherence to sound engineering processes in the development, production, test and sustainment of products
- Maintain cognizance over technical activities within program sub-teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) field and 14 years of related technical experience
- Master’s degree in a STEM field and 12 years of related technical experience
- PhD in a STEM field and 10 years of related technical experience
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Experience as SME, Technical lead, Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, Chief Engineer, or other engineering leadership role
- Demonstrated experience in designing, building, testing and deploying mission critical military systems
- Demonstrated experience in leading Agile development teams and ensuring adherence to Agile principles
- Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle
