About the role
- Conduct Special Process audits at supplier facilities to verify conformance to Northrop Grumman Engineering and Quality standards.
- Review and approve supplier Nondestructive Test procedures and techniques
- Capable of understanding and interpreting specifications/standards/contracts
- Ensure effective supplier root cause and corrective action
- Collaborate with program management, engineering, supply chain management, and supplier management teams
- Travel as needed to support program initiatives
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree AND 8 years of quality/manufacturing experience OR a Master's degree AND 6 years of quality/manufacturing experience OR a PHD and 4 years of quality/manufacturing experience
- NAS410 certified Nondestructive Test (NDT) Level 3 in a minimum of three methods including ultrasonic testing of advanced composites
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance and Special Program Access
- Must have a Valid State Driver’s License to operate a personal motor vehicle and have a dependable motor vehicle to travel to local suppliers.
- Ability to travel up to 100% of time
- Proficient in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
